ZMCT103C AC Current Sensor Module — Precision Transformer

The ZMCT103C measures AC current up to 5A (rated, 20A peak) using a precision current transformer, outputting a scaled analogue voltage proportional to the RMS current through the measured wire. Unlike the ACS712 Hall effect sensor, the ZMCT103C uses magnetic transformer coupling — providing galvanic isolation and better linearity at low current levels. The module operates at 3.3V–5V and requires a sampling circuit (typically a precision op-amp) for accurate ADC reading.
