RF Nano V3.0 Arduino Compatible with NRF24L01+ Wireless Module

The RF Nano combines an Arduino Nano V3.0 ATmega328P board with an onboard NRF24L01+ 2.4GHz radio transceiver, providing wireless communication without a separate radio module or breadboard wiring. The NRF24L01 is pre-connected to the Nano’s SPI pins (D11 MOSI, D12 MISO, D13 SCK, D10 CS, D9 CE) and communicates at up to 2Mbps over 125 configurable channels at ranges up to 100 metres in open air. Programming uses the same Mini USB connection and CH340G interface as a standard Nano.

  • ATmega328P at 16MHz — same as Arduino Nano V3.0
  • Onboard NRF24L01+ — 2.4GHz, 2Mbps, 125 channels
  • Up to 100m open-air range
  • Pre-wired SPI connection — D9 CE, D10 CSN, D11–D13 SPI
  • CH340G USB interface — Mini USB programming
  • Breadboard-compatible form factor
Specification Value

CSN pin D10

How do you use the RF Nano with the RF24 library?

Use the TMRh20 RF24 library. Initialise with RF24 radio(9, 10) — CE on pin 9, CSN on pin 10. Call radio.begin(), radio.openWritingPipe(address), and radio.write(&data, sizeof(data)) to transmit. The receiver calls radio.openReadingPipe(1, address) and radio.startListening() then polls radio.available() and reads with radio.read(&data, sizeof(data)).

Best for

Wireless sensor networks, remote sensor nodes, two-way Arduino communication, telemetry for RC vehicles, wireless relay control, multi-room temperature logging, and any project needing a compact Arduino with built-in wireless at up to 100 metres.

Olivia ★★★★★

Putting together a small sensor network was way easier with this board since the radio is already integrated—no extra wiring or modules to mess with. I had two of them talking to each other within minutes of opening the box. The USB port also feels solid and clips in firmly, which I appreciate after

Eli ★★★★★

Having the NRF24L01+ radio built right onto the Nano footprint saved me a ton of jumper wires on my last project. Both boards talked to each other over 2.4GHz on the first try, no extra wiring headaches. Flashed it with the Arduino IDE and it just worked.

Mia ★★★★★

Wiring up a wireless sensor node used to mean juggling a Nano and a separate radio module on a breadboard, so having the NRF24L01+ built right onto the board is a relief. Soldered up two of these for a little temp sensor link across the house and they paired without any fuss.
